Monochromatic Texas Wedding Day? Yes, please! Renee and Jason’s Monochromatic Wedding Day really did take our breath away.
While trending color palettes can certainly transform the overall aesthetic of a wedding, what about the absence of color? Once you see Renee and Jason’s photos, you’ll see what we mean. Their wedding was full of modern monochromatic beauty and we are obsessed with how it came together. Seeing our venue full of color is certainly fun, but we have a newfound love for a black-and-white wedding. Follow along to see how it all came together!
Before the wedding began, the neutral color scheme was already in play. The bridesmaids wore black robes and Renee wore a gorgeous, floor-length white lace robe. These ladies looked stunning already, and the wedding hadn’t even begun!
This classy look transitioned into their wedding attire as the whole wedding party was in black with Renee in white. It looked so elegant and really made the white bouquets pop. If you look closely at the bouquets, you’ll see a beautiful combination of orchids, ranunculus, peonies, and sweet pea blooms all in crisp white. The variety of flowers created a beautiful texture even with a basic white palette. We think these bouquets are anything but basic, though, wouldn’t you agree?
Transitioning into the ceremony, the color scheme was made apparent as soon as guests arrived. The sleek black acrylic welcome sign was adorned with a scripted font with a nod to our french inspired venue. The sign read, “Bienvenue au Mariage de Renee & Jason”, which translates to “Welcome to the wedding of Renee & Jason.” We LOVE that little detail! For the ceremony, the flowers were all white with accents of greenery. The aisle markers and flower arch at the altar were beautiful in every sense of the word.
Once guests moved into the cocktail hour, they were greeted by a gorgeous black and white seating chart. The black acrylic was used here as well, and the free-standing look of this seating chart was so modern and fun! Once the doors to the Great Hall were opened, guests were blown away by the magnificence of the space. Everything was draped in white, including the ceiling! From the linens, chairs, and napkins, to the DJ station and dance floor, the white monochromatic Texas wedding day palette took center stage. To add a little depth and dimension, greenery was used with the floral arrangements and the black acrylic made an appearance once again for the table numbers. Everything meshed so perfectly, and we totally understand why some people love neutrals. There wasn’t a single color used in this monochromatic Texas wedding day palette (unless you count the greenery) and every bit of their wedding day was gorgeous.
Renee and Jason, your wedding was pure magic, and we’re so grateful you chose to host the best day of your life at our venue. Your monochromatic Texas wedding day was incredibly inspirational and timeless and your love is contagious. We wish you all the best!
A very special shout out to our incredible vendor team that helped to bring this magical day to life! Be sure to check them out if you are looking to get married in the Dripping Springs, Texas area and beyond!
