And the extensive knowledge and experience I gained while working as an assistant wedding coordinator for several luxury wedding planners which helps me better serve and assist you as you think through and plan out the details and logistics of your day.

Being of French heritage myself, I was always drawn to Ma Maison’s French beauty and inspiration. So when I joined the family as the site manager for the property I found it to be the perfect fit for me. I moved to Texas from Louisiana in 2014. And along with my husband Landon now call Austin home. When I'm not at the venue, you can find me hiking, kayaking, and somehow adventuring outdoors with our Doodle, Cooper.
And I can't wait to start this incredible wedding adventure with you!

When I am not working at Ma Maison, “our family business”, I work for a law firm as an office manager, notary, and translator. My skills in these areas have allowed me to contribute to my community and grow as a person. I am also proud to announce that I will be graduating in May as a theologian, which has been a long-standing dream of mine.

I also have a deep desire to learn Hebrew after graduation and to one day be a professor in a theological university.

I am grateful for my unique experiences and the diverse perspectives that they have provided me. I believe that my background, passion, and drive make me an excellent candidate for any opportunity, and I can't wait to see what the future holds. I am so incredibly blessed that I get to be on your new journey in life as well!

As a beloved member of the Moise family and a crucial part of the team here at Ma Maison, I’m always ready to greet you when you come for a tour. And I’ll gladly show you all around the venue. I’ve been told that I have the most contagious smile. And my favorite thing to do is give a good cuddle. If you ever feel stressed about planning your big day or are nervous to walk down the aisle, I’ll step in and cover you in the best pup snuggles ever. When I’m off the clock you can find me chasing a ball, or playing with my dog sis, Gracie.

But most likely, you’ll find me with my favorite human, my sweet mama bear Karen. {Trust me, you’ll love her too!}

Certified Therapy Dog

I have always told everyone that I serve at the pleasure of my wife. In all honesty, she has served with me as my wife, our daughters’ mother and my Lead Fetal Center Nurse coordinator for so many years. She has helped pregnant women become moms so lovingly for over 35 years. And when she said, “Let’s build a wedding venue”, I said really? Are you sure? And so, we did. We built Ma Maison to give couples that same experience of getting married and becoming one. I have also had the extreme pleasure and blessing to serve as Gustavo & Edwardo’s father. When I am not doing all the outdoor things for Ma Maison, I spend my week days as the Director of the Fetal Center at Dell Children’s Hospital performing life changing fetal surgery on tiny babies before they are born.

Chief Bricoleur

My Facebook bio has always said, mom to 3, mother to many. By nature, I love to nurture. And that passion for nurturing and caring has defined my entire life. During my early years of motherhood, I volunteered for the Junior League of Houston as the Special Events Chair. And there is where my love and passion of all thing’s celebrations and events. As a certified wedding planner, I hone my skills and attention to details to you and everything about your wedding. On this day, there are no do-overs. Our entire team is there start to finished to give you that beautiful dream wedding day. When not knee deep in Ma Maison, my cup does run over, over with abundance of love and care for our family, our three grandchildren, and our sweet Doodles & Kaldi. And if there are a few seconds left in my day, I love to cook and garden. We are looking forward to having your and your family, join our Ma Maison family.

JOIN THE FAMILY

I don't even know where to begin. Ma Maison is THE wedding venue. I was looking for a venue that was absolutely gorgeous without needing a ton of decorations, had a variety of different places for us to get married, had fun activities to entertain guests, and also was close enough to other things in town to where our guests could go explore. Ma Maison EXCEEDED every single one of those requirements and Karen was spectacular. She took care of me from start to finish and was always there to answer any questions, put me at ease, and even helped to point me in the right direction of the vendors that seemed to fit my vision. I would HIGHLY recommend getting married here. I would do it over and over again in a heartbeat!
