Ma Maison’s Partnered Caterers
Hello all!
Did you know that Ma Maison works with three amazing caterers for all our events so that your wedding can be wonderfully delicious and equally successful?
Karen has worked diligently to curate a list of preferred caterers for you to choose from. The best thing about all these options is that they are all amazing and oh so tasty!
So, in today’s blog we wanted to feature all three and give you a little snippet about each so you can get to know them better!
Here are Ma Maison’s Partnered Caterers and a little insight into each taken from their website’s bios:
Crave Catering:
Crave’s hospitality roots run deep here in Austin and Hill Country. Our small but mighty team dreamed big in 1999 when we launched our corporate catering and concierge services company during a time when the area’s business scene took off running. Chef Kim Price and her brother Kirk Price discovered that they were really good at feeding hungry business people, and they loved doing it.
Fast forward a couple years. Texas Hill Country transforms into a top wedding destination, and our business evolves to encompass fine dining, elaborate weddings and social events. Fast forward again. Inspired by Austin’s growth and desirability, we expanded even more, taking on large events primarily led by destination management companies and marketing and PR firms. In harnessing strong relationships with talented event planners, we pushed the limits of our team’s full potential.
Royal Fig Catering:
Once upon a time in a land far, far away, a girl named Kristen and a boy named Dan met one Halloween night in New York City. Just three months later, they were engaged and plotting a move across the country the great state of Texas!
As soon as the couple arrived in Austin, the real wedding planning began, and there was nothing more important to an accomplished chef like Dan than good food at his wedding. He wanted a menu that truly represented the seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine he loved to cook, but they couldn’t find a caterer who could truly realize that vision. Since Dan couldn’t convince Kristen to let him cook all of the food for their wedding, they ordered barbecue so that all of Kristen’s family from the north could get a proper introduction to Texas cuisine. And the rest they say, is history!
Soho Catering:
Our story starts with southern hospitality, hence our name SoHo Catering & Consulting. At SoHo Catering & Consulting we epitomize hospitality—its authenticity, grace, and charm. To us, hospitality goes beyond saying yes ma’am and holding doors open; it encompasses everything we stand behind. From the moment you contact us, we strive to ensure your whole experience leaves you feeling at ease and with fond memories.
We genuinely care about your event, and work to guarantee you feel comfortable and confident with our services from your first meeting until your event’s execution and thereafter. Whether it’s tasting samples in our elegant tasting room, working with us to design a speciality dish, or leaving your event with a warm meal to enjoy afterwards, we make it a priority to listen to your ideas and use our expertise to shape your vision into reality.
Now on to the fun details…
Our favorite (current, because it is constantly changing) foods from each:
Crave: Their Beef Bourginon — wowza!
Royal Fig: Easily their Fried Chicken…so so tasty!
Soho: Hands down, their Mac and Cheese…it is INCREDIBLE
Here at Ma Maison we believe truly great caterers know their job extends well beyond providing quality food for an event.
These caterers are all unique and we recommend interviewing them & choosing the one that best captures your style & culinary vision for your wedding day.
If you are curious about possible pricing ideas, let us know! Our brochure includes an idea of what event pricing MAY look like for each of the three and we would be happy to share!
Until then, dream of yummy eats and have fun picking your caterer! You can’t go wrong with these three!
Cheers to you and cheers to love,
