Congrats to newlyweds Raquel and Chase Christal! Their whimsical and ethereal wedding took place on June 7th here at Ma Maison. Let’s take a look at their beautiful summer wedding!

How they met

“Chase and I met at Texas Tech University. When I moved to Lubbock, I had a goal to meet all new people and friends, so I decided to do a roommate potluck (random people are chosen to room with me). One of my roommates (bridesmaid-Vicky) had a brother that had a best friend and that was Chase! Long story short, we were friends for about a year while Chase was dating someone else. Eventually we became interested in each other once we started hanging out a lot.” 

How he proposed!

“On the day of our engagement, I was thinking that Chase was just taking me to a beautiful winery close to my hometown to entertain us while we stay in Marble Falls with my family. Little did I know, Chase planned a private vineyard walk, proposal, and all of my family and friends there to celebrate while all being captured with a professional photographer. It was perfect. I was shocked and head over heels!” So cute!

Favorite special memory

“Chase and I really wanted to go camping, but knew our schedule wouldn’t allow us to go all weekend. So, we decided to put the tent up in Chase’s back yard! We even put a TV out there! It was fun and silly, but we really enjoyed the time we had together. ” Don’t you just love this!
