While attending college at LSU, Morgan and Zac bonded over their love of LSU football, the New Orleans Saints, and dogs. Morgan was completely surprised when Zac proposed to her the day after Christmas in 2014. Morgan’s parents had just moved to Atlanta, and this was the couple’s first time visiting them. As a Christmas tradition, Morgan and her family go out to a family dinner. Morgan’s mom and dad helped Zac choose the perfect farm to table restaurant, and he proposed in the garden before celebrating with Morgan’s family.
Zac, 25, is a pool and landscape design consultant in Houston. In Zac’s free time, he is a photographer and loves to play golf. Morgan, 24, is a graduate student in Houston and works with children with autism as a behavior specialist and part-time aerial dance instructor at a local dance studio. The couple enjoys playing with their dog, Abby, and watching LSU and New Orleans Saints football!
Choosing a laid back, bohemian feel for the wedding, a muted purple, green and gray were selected as the wedding colors. Since Zac is a photographer, one of the most important aspects of their wedding was choosing someone to take gorgeous photos of their special day. Morgan loves creating photo albums and filling their home with pictures so selecting a photographer who would love to document the best day ever was imperative for them.
Six groomsman wearing tan pants, white dress shirts, purple suspenders and bowtie began the processional at the Green Cathedral ceremony site on the evening of July 2nd. Six bridesmaids in light purple chiffon gowns followed the guys down the aisle. 125 guests showed their support of Zac and Morgan’s union and tossed rose petals after the two had said their vows and were walking back up the aisle. Dinner immediately followed the ceremony while the newly married couple snuck away for a private dinner in the bridal suite. After the buffet dinner, guests enjoyed dancing.
The party ended with guests waving goodbye to a glow stick sendoff of the new Mr. and Mrs. Zac Campbell. Two days following the wedding, Morgan and Zac left for Maui to relax on the beach, surf, and go hiking!
