What is the most memorable appointment experience you have had?

There’s probably not ONE that I can choose. But hearing the serendipitous and sometimes unique stories of how couples have met is always memorable and a great reminder of how love can happen, anytime, anywhere!

 

What are your 3 top appointment tips to shopping brides?

1) Do not try on too many gowns- you can become confused and overwhelmed!

2) Trust your consultant’s recommendations.

3) Keep an open mind. Try on different silhouettes, you never know with bridal what will flatter your body-type!

 

What is the best part about your job?

Definitely helping other women feel beautiful. We live in a society where that’s not always the case. It’s great to be on the other end, especially for such an important day in their life.

 

Who should brides bring to their appointment?

A small group (four or less) of people that genuinely support you and know that it’s your day, and Beyonce.

 

May brides take pictures of the gowns while they try them on?

Of course!

 

When should brides order their veil and/or headpiece?

It depends on the designer. But ask your consultant about lead times on certain accessories, headpieces, and veils, so you can have them in time for your bridal portraits or wedding!

 

Can brides complete their entire look in one appointment?

Yes, absolutely.

 

Do brides need to make an appointment to look at accessories?

No. If it’s a Saturday, preferably, so that we can give you our undivided attention.

When should brides schedule their first fitting?

Schedule your first alterations appointment now, for when you know your dress will be arriving, seamstresses book up quickly! It can take 1-3 months for alterations.

 

What should brides bring to their first fitting?

Undergarments you’d like to wear the day of the wedding, and it doesn’t have to be the shoes, but at least heels that are the same height as ones you’d feel comfortable in throughout your big day.

 

How many fittings will brides need?

Depends! Most brides will need a few fittings, but if you’re losing weight than that can extend the timeline and the amount of appointments needed.

 

Will you ship a bride’s gown out of state for them?
