Fall Wedding Trends

We don’t know about you, but we sure do love Fall weddings! And now that we are in September, we are officially excited to smell the leaves, drink some yummy Pumpkin Spice things, and start wearing sweaters!

 

With all this fall excitement in the air, we are thinking about some of our favorite Fall wedding trends and thought we would share them with you.

Let’s talk all Fall Wedding Trends:

• Bold Colors

While we are lovers of the all ivory wedding looks, more and more, we see couples really utilizing bolder color palettes and we are here for it! Fall is such a great time of year because that fear of using darker colors is non-existent. The use of moodier palettes, surprising palettes is all the rage! If you want color — do color! It will be beautiful!

• Twinkling Lights

We are really loving this one. We are such suckers for the romance factor of twinkling lights. We have even added more on our own personal Trellis and in the Tunnel of Love! We think twinkle lights add a little glitter and glam to any event or picture. If you want a little more magic — think twinkle lights!

• Weekday Weddings

The Fall is such a busy time for people — back to school, holidays, etc. Some couples are thinking about doing their wedding during the actual week rather than the weekend and we think it is a fabulous idea! Not only is this more of a cost efficient option, but it might help your guests with their availability as well!

• Personalized Drinks

We are huge fans of anything and everything customized! This certainly works for drinks too. Cocktails are all the rage for all weddings right now, so why not have some fun and really customize them to the season with the flavors and colors that you love? Make something delicious that looks oh so beautiful too!

• Coordinated Dress Codes 

This is a newer trend and we think it is so cute. Couples have started letting their guests know what the color palette is for the big day and guests are dressing accordingly. Back in the day it was normal to tell your guests whether your big day was black tie or not, but now couples are talking about the color scheme so guests can fit right in! It is an amazing look when everyone is rocking the same few tones. Talk about cool pictures!
