While minimal and neutral weddings certainly are beautiful, we are also fans of weddings that are bursting with color! With that said, Molly and Daniel’s colorful Texas wedding did not disappoint. Their day of design packed a punch showcasing vibrant pink and orange hues paired with subtle blush tones.
The bold colors were showcased throughout the day using flowers and napkins. The table linens are the bridesmaids’ dresses were muted and provided the perfect pairing of neutral tones with bold colors! We absolutely loved seeing the girls in Molly’s bridal party wear a variety of dresses with different textures and colors. This really added to the flow of the color palette throughout the day!
This was the perfect way to create a sophisticated design with a dose of “party” – which was exactly the vibe these two were going for. Color is such a fun way to customize your event, and since there are millions of shades on a color wheel – the possibilities are endless!
In 2020, early on in the pandemic, Daniel had the perfect idea to cure the “pandemic blues” – plan a proposal! With everything being closed, he had to get creative and he whipped up a candlelit dinner and the surprise of a lifetime – and of course, she said “yes”!
In their free time, they enjoy playing volleyball, doing crosswords, and binge-watching Netflix. Volleyball has a special place in their hearts, as that’s actually how they met! They also like trying new restaurants and taking their cute pup, Autumn, out for adventures.
Spoiler alert: Autumn made an appearance on their wedding day, and boy was she cute!
For their ceremony, these decided to get married in front of our Green Cathedral, which was adorned with beautiful, bright blooms by the one and only christieturnerdesigns. The asymmetrical floral arrangement on the center arch was stunning! We love how it meshed perfectly with the bouquets – #swoon!
Their wedding party brought the fun and they had the best time taking photos all around the property during cocktail hour. The joy in the air was palpable – you could just tell how in love this couple was and how loved they were by their family and friends!
Molly and Daniel, we are SO excited for you as you enter into this next chapter of life as a married couple. It was an honor to have you celebrate your most special day here at Ma Maison, and we consider you family! Your wedding was beautiful, energetic, sentimental, and full of love. We are honored to have been a part of bringing your day to life here in the Texas Hill Country!
