We find that a lot of our readers and followers are NOT engaged quite yet so we thought this would be a perfect time to inspire some unique and special proposals.

Getting WILD

There is just something about going outdoors for a proposal that speaks to so many types of couples. When we think outside, we think of sunsets, stars and all things nature. Think about taking your loved one on a hike, to the beach, building a snowman, etc. If it just seems like a normal outdoor activity, they will be SO surprised!

 

X Marks The Spot

Okay, okay…we know that scavenger hunt proposals have been done for a long while now…BUT, here is why we love them. Scavenger hunts really allow the couple to go down a personal journey and remember special moments and details. This is a great way to really customize a proposal and make your partner swoon over all the thought that went into the special event!

 

Picture Perfect

This may be one of our favorite ways to surprise your special person. If you are doing a couple shoot or asking someone to take a photo out in public, it is usually a complete shocker for the other person! If you want to keep your love guessing, this might be a great option for you.

 

Write It Out

This is quite literally, writing it out. There are so many ways to do it! In the snow, on a cake, during a game of Scrabble — you name it! This type of proposal will make any person swoon and it will make for a beautiful picture! One tip: write something from the heart! Make it personal!

 

First Date, Take Two

Currently, our favorite way to propose, thanks to Covid — we love this option because not only is it nostalgic, but it really celebrates a love story. You can recreate your first date and make this second round even more special. Your spouse-to-be will completely melt with a proposal like this!
