Ten years ago, Chrystal and Issac met at a community college that they both attended. Issac worked as a computer lab attendant in the same building that Chrystal worked in as a part-time coffee shop barista. The two started a friendship that grew into something more.
Dating for many years, the two frequently discussed marriage and knew that they were meant for each other. According to Chrystal, Issac is terrible with secrets, but he completely surprised Chrystal with his proposal. On the 4thof July of 2015, Issac’s brother had a fireworks show for the whole family. At the “finale,” Issac was kneeling next to Chrystal with a ring in his hand. Issac asked “Will you marry me?” and the real fireworks finale began. Not only did Issac do a great job of keeping the proposal a secret, but his entire family was in on it as well.
Wanting a more intimate wedding, 60 close friends and family were in attendance as Chrystal and Issac exchanged their vows at Ma Maison. Not having a specific wedding color palette, the four bridesmaids wore a light mint color while the groomsmen wore light gray suits. A simple yet romantic wedding ceremony was set at The Grove ceremony site. Guests enjoyed a relaxed and special evening in The Great Hall at the reception.
As the night drew to a close, the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Villarreal ended their night just like their engagement night, with a few sparks from fireworks. Following their wedding, the two set out on a relaxing honeymoon to their favorite bed and breakfast in Austin.
