Brittney and Aaron worked together at Medtronic but did not meet until a mutual friend introduced them while they were living in San Antonio. It was love at first sight with these two; they connected at their first date and feelings developed from there. During their relationship, the couple moved from Texas to Fargo, North Dakota for Aaron’s job where they lived for a year. Southern Belle Brittney moved to the frozen tundra for her man, so it really was love! After the year was up, Brittney and Aaron trekked to Minneapolis, Minnesota for a more bearable climate.
Brittney, 30, is an event planner. Aaron, 27, is a medical sales rep for Medtronic. While dating the couple enjoyed spending times outdoors including walking and kayaking the many lakes in Minnesota. As well as being outdoors, Brittney and Aaron love low-key date nights that include pizza and a movie.
Aaron proposed to Brittney in July of 2015. At the headwaters of the Mississippi River is where Aaron popped the question. The location was significant to them both; it is where their two families connect. Aaron is from Minnesota, and Brittney grew up in Louisiana.
Exactly a year later, Brittney and Aaron said their “I Do’s” at Ma Maison on July 23rd of 2016. The style for the wedding day included a nautical feel with organic touches comprising of greenery on farmhouse tables and classic accents. Hints of blush, blue, and ivory were found at the ceremony and reception sites. Seven groomsmen and seven bridesmaids stood by the bride and groom’s side on their wedding day. Rose petals were along the aisle of the pathway as 175 guests gathered at The Green Cathedral ceremony site at Ma Maison to witness Brittney and Aaron become Mr. and Mrs. Shibrowski. The ceremony finished with a kiss, and family and friends walked to The Trellis for cocktail hour.
Good music and fun atmosphere were two elements that were important to the couple on their wedding day. Royal Fig catered dinner, and Brittney wanted to make sure that guests could taste the Louisiana influence in the food. Once dinner had finished in The Great Hall, the dance floor flooded with guests. Brittney changed into dress number two for the rest of the wedding reception. After an evening of dancing, the night came to an end; sparklers were lit, and the newly married couple passed through the tunnel of light to their getaway car. The following day, the Mr. and Mrs. left to the Caribbean Island of Grenada to soak up the sun and get away.
