As a beloved member of the Moise family and a crucial part of the team here at Ma Maison, I’m always ready to greet you when you come for a tour. And I’ll gladly show you all around the venue. I’ve been told that I have the most contagious smile. And my favorite thing to do is give a good cuddle. If you ever feel stressed about planning your big day or are nervous to walk down the aisle, I’ll step in and cover you in the best pup snuggles ever. When I’m off the clock you can find me chasing a ball, or playing with my dog sis, Gracie.

But most likely, you’ll find me with my favorite human, my sweet mama bear Karen. {Trust me, you’ll love her too!}

Welcome. And congratulations on your engagement! I’m so happy for you. And I know first hand what a significant and busy time this can be! You can rest easy knowing that with our family, you are in good hands!  

My education in family and child development gives me a ton of insight into the relational and family dynamics that can certainly affect wedding planning at times. And the extensive knowledge and experience I gained while working as an assistant wedding coordinator for several luxury wedding planners which helps me better serve and assist you as you think through and plan out the details and logistics of your day. 

Being of French heritage myself, I was always drawn to Ma Maison’s French beauty and inspiration. So when I joined the family as the site manager for the property I found it to be the perfect fit for me. I moved to Texas from Louisiana in 2014. And along with my husband Landon now call Austin home. When I'm not at the venue, you can find me hiking, kayaking, and somehow adventuring outdoors with our Doodle, Cooper.

And I can't wait to start this incredible wedding adventure with you!

hi! I'm eduardo!

I was born in El Paso but lived in Mexico for 15 years before moving to Texas.

I feel truly blessed to have two families who have shaped me into the person I am today. The Maldonado family and the Moise family come from different backgrounds, but they share the same values and beliefs in life, and I am proud to be a part of both.

Aside from my family, my life is filled with a range of experiences and passions. When I am not working at Ma Maison, “our family business”, I work for a law firm as an office manager, notary, and translator. My skills in these areas have allowed me to contribute to my community and grow as a person. I also graduated from collegge as a theologian, which has been a long-standing dream of mine.

hi! I'm gustavo

I have always told everyone that I serve at the pleasure of my wife. In all honesty, she has served with me as my wife, our daughters’ mother and my Lead Fetal Center Nurse coordinator for so many years. She has helped pregnant women become moms so lovingly for over 35 years. And when she said, “Let’s build a wedding venue”, I said really? Are you sure? And so, we did. We built Ma Maison to give couples that same experience of getting married and becoming one. I have also had the extreme pleasure and blessing to serve as Gustavo & Edwardo’s father. When I am not doing all the outdoor things for Ma Maison, I spend my week days as the Director of the Fetal Center at Dell Children’s Hospital performing life changing fetal surgery on tiny babies before they are born.

 I LOVE the European style of it and the Green Cathedral and Great Hall has so much charm and beauty. You can see even from the photos and the website that they've thought of everything and the venue is set up ideally for every aspect of a wedding.

There are multiple options for the ceremony and reception so you have choices visually while still having backups in case it rains. They also have a perfect process to help guide you through the planning. I'm so glad that Ma Maison helped us find our catering company and coordinator. They also are allowing us to bring our own alcohol, which is helpful as well. The grounds are pristine and beautiful! Lots of parking. Dripping Springs also has a lot of great vendors close by. This is the perfect wedding venue! Very happy we chose Ma Maison for our special day."

Ma Maison is such a beautiful venue! Both Karen, the owner, and Conor have been very responsive and accommodating; they have made this planning process much easier.  The unpredictable weather in Texas can make planning an outdoor wedding challenging. Ma Maison offers both indoor and outdoor options, with plenty of space for guests. We chose Ma Maison because of the flexibility in ceremony options as well as how the venue captures my overall vision, mixing both elegance and the countryside together. All of the vendors on the preferred list have been great to work with. I feel less overwhelmed knowing there are trusted vendors who know the space and will be able to make the day of my wedding seamless and enjoyable.
